A full bodied layered fruit cake in a bottle. Sweet yet balanced with the correct amount of warmth, reduced fruits, dark cherry, berry fruit, jammy, mince and slight Port characteristics. The red version of Sauterne? Perhaps. It is a gem of a dessert wine and went really well with truffles on a cold March night. |

This had almost a Riesling character to it. Nice and very ripe apple fruit. For the price point, it is excellent. This wine would pair very well with white meat, fish or on its own. |
